SMS Verbal Consent Procedure
1. Purpose and scope
This document is the written procedure that In Motion presenters follow to obtain verbal consent before any SMS/text message is sent through the In Motion / policysense AI demo messaging program (A2P 10DLC, Low Volume Mixed). It records the exact verbiage read to participants, the action that constitutes consent, and how the program handles participants who decline. It is the consent documentation for the campaign registered by Antonio Guzman Buscemi, Head of Product at In Motion, who operates the program and is its registered sender.

3. Verbatim script read by the presenter
The presenter reads the following script aloud, word for word, to every participant who may receive messages, before the first SMS is sent. The presenter does not paraphrase it.
"During this demonstration, the policysense AI platform will send you a few SMS/text messages on behalf of In Motion that simulate insurance notifications: for example, a policy issued, a payment received or a renewal reminder. It is a demonstration only; no real policy or payment is involved. Message and data rates may apply. The number of messages varies with the demo, typically 3 to 8 during this session, and none after it. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help or contact info@grupoinmotion.com. Do you agree to receive these messages during the session? If so, please give me the mobile number you want to use, and I will read it back to you."
4. Consent steps
| Step | Who | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Presenter | Reads the script in section 3 aloud, verbatim, before any message is sent. |
| 2 | Participant | Answers the question. Consent exists only if the participant says yes aloud and gives a mobile number. |
| 3 | Presenter | Reads the mobile number back; the participant confirms it is correct. |
| 4 | Presenter | Only then enters the number into the demonstration environment for that session. |
| 5 | Platform | Sends the demo SMS messages during the session. Each message identifies the program and carries STOP/HELP instructions. The platform keeps the technical send log (number, message, timestamp, delivery status). |
| 6 | End of session | No further messages are sent. The number is not reused and is not added to any list. A participant in a later session is asked again. |
5. Participants who decline
A participant who does not say yes, does not give a number, or says no at any point is not entered into the demonstration environment and receives no SMS messages. A participant who replies STOP, or tells the presenter to stop, receives one opt-out confirmation and no further messages from the program.
6. Sample messages sent after consent
- In Motion / policysense AI demo: Your policy [POLICY-NUMBER] has been issued. Coverage starts [DATE]. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
